Prep your nails
Start with clean, dry nails. Push back cuticles. If your nails are extra long, you can trim them down to the length you desire. Choose a color for your base coat. A sheer pink or nude shade is always elegant, or you can go bold with a color that pops.
File your nails into the desired shape
Start by filed your nails into the desired shape. If you’re not sure what shape to go for, a classic oval or almond shape is always a good choice. Once you’ve settled on a shape, use a buffer to smooth out the top of your nails so they’re ready for polish.
Apply a base coat
Start with a clean slate. Gather your tools: a base coat, top coat, white polish, and a dotting tool or toothpick. Begin by applying the base coat to all of your nails. This will create a barrier between your nails and the white polish, which can stained nails yellow. Then, apply two coats of white polish to each nail. Allow the polish to dry completely before moving on to the next step.
Paint your nails
Start by painting your entire nail with a white base coat. Next, use a thin brush to paint a yellow line along the tip of your nail. Once the yellow is dry, use a green brush to add some leaves around the yellow line. Finally, use a red brush to add a small flower on top of the leaves.

Start with a white base coat to create a more vibrant design. Apply the base coat evenly on the entire nail, including the tip. Let the base coat dry completely before proceeding to the next step.

Start by painting your nails with a white polish. Once the polish is dry, use a small paintbrush to create a french tip with black polish. Make sure to allow the black polish to dry completely before proceeding to the next step.
To create the flower design, start by painting a small circle in the center of each nail with yellow polish. Then, use a pink or red polish to add small dots around the outside of the circle. Finally, use a green polish to add leaves on either side of the flower.

Start with a french tip. For the base color, use white. For the accent color, use any color you like. We used pink. Begin by painting the base color on the entire nail. Then, use the accent color to paint a dot in the center of the nail. Once the dot is dry, use a toothpick to draw lines out from the center of the nail to the edge.
Use a dotting tool to create the center of the flower
Use a dotting tool to create the center of the flower. Dip the dotting tool in white polish and start in the middle of the nail. Then, using a light touch, create a small circle in the center of the nail. Continue adding dots around the center circle until you have created a flower shape.
Create the petals with a white polish
Start by painting your nails with a white polish. Once the polish has dried, use a dotting tool or a toothpick to create five small dots in the center of each nail. These will be the center of your flowers.
Next, use a thin brush to create petals around the dots. Start by making two small curved lines on either side of each dot. Then, continue adding petals until you have created a five-petal flower.
Once your flowers are complete, add a green polish to the stem of each flower. You can also add leaves if you’d like. Allow everything to dry completely before adding a top coat.
Finish the design with a top coat
Once you have applied the base polish and the french tips, it is time to top it off with a top coat. This will give your nails a glossy finish and help protect your design.
